2008 Bentley Azure Car Review

Description

The 2008 Bentley Azure has 450 break horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque with a 6.7-litre V8 turbocharged engine, all this combined makes it possible for the Bentley Azure to go from 0-60 mph in only 5.6 seconds. A gentle tap on the accelerator is recommended for a smooth drive due to such power. The transmission is a six-speed automatic which comfortable slips between gears.

The 2008 Bentley Azure is a comfortable ride and is no different from most other convertibles when it comes to rougher surfaces delivering some slight movement to the car. Once you are used to driving such a large vehicle such as the Azure you quickly forget its size and take for granted how agile the car is.

Like all Bentley''s there are limitless specification and options to change on the Azure from inside trim and colour to wheels and tyres. The Azure is classy and well built with a luxurious feel to it, there material is of the highest quality and the layout of the Azure is simple with big buttons instead of complex gadgets. Seats are power adjustable along with the steering wheel.

There is plenty of room for four people in the Azure and a nice feature is the door handles of which there are two on each door for ease of use.

The roof of the Azure is fully electric but the downside is the 26 seconds it takes to open and close, unlike most convertibles it does not take up the space in the boot leaving you with plenty of room for luggage.

The Azure is fitted with front side and curtain airbags for all passengers and has a stability control feature.

The 2008 Bentley Azure standard features include Sat navigation, climate control and the leather upholstery but almost everything else is an added extra and there is a tremendous list of options to choose from.

The 2008 Bentley Azure is reported to do 14.5mpg which is pretty standard for a Bentley but a real fuel guzzler compared with many other vehicles.
